Safe Stop 180°

• Meets NCHRP 350 TL-3 criteria for 62 mph (100 km/h) Truck Mounted Attenuators (TMA) for design impacts.
  
• The Safe-Stop 180°’s cartridge array folds at the center, reducing the total system’s height to just 6’10” (2.08 m). The two cartridge sections literally stack on top of each other.
  
• Two light-weight aluminum cartridges are contained in a reusable steel support frame. When impacted, the steel support frame collapses and the aluminum cartridges crush to absorb the energy of the impact, bring the vehicle to a safe, controlled stop and preventing it from underriding the truck.
  
• After a typical design impact, the steel support frame and strike plate are reusable, and only the two aluminum Safe-Stop cartridges and some hardware need to be replaced. Refurbishment can often be done in the field.

Safe Stop 90°

he Safe-Stop 90° TMA is only 13'2" (3.98 m) long yet it protects against high-speed impacts.

eets NCHRP 350 TL-2 criteria for 43 mph (70 km/h) TMA when impacted by 1808 lb to 4410 lb (820 to 2000 kg) vehicles.

The 70K TMA’s unique design of crushable aluminum absorbs rear-end impacts at speeds up to 43 mph (70 km/h) and prevents impacting vehicles from underriding truck.

A Durashell nose returns to original shape after low-speed nuisance hits. The tapered nose also minimizes corner damage and streamlines appearance.

Economically designed to shield workzone vehicles during low speed impacts, the LS-Pro TMA is ideal for use on municipal vehicles, utility maintenance vehicles, snow plows, street sweepers, etc. when anticipated impact speed are at or below 30 mph (50 km/h).
